Nokia 808 PureView new samples

Most of the photos have been downsized to 5 megapixels, which supposedly allows us to see the best of the PureView technology and they are really impressive. The dynamic range and the amount of fine detail resolved is splendid and while we can't say anything about their accuracy, colors certainly look nice. Not to mention the shallow depth of field, which is normally next to impossible to achieve with a cameraphone.

The Best Mobile Imaging Device award, however, goes to another smartphone - the Samsung Galaxy Nexus. TIPA was impressed with the 720p Super AMOLED screen and the zero shutter lag of the Google purebred.
